The PXL-2 H.D. is a heavy duty version of our standard PXL-2 non-penetrating mount. The mount and mast shown below is designed and tested to handle the 3.8M antenna. Larger antennas may be used with the PXL-2 H.D. however, each installation must be examined to determine if the mount can withstand the wind loads which may be applied.

The AFC EHD is designed to handle up to and including a 5.0M antenna. Larger antennas may be used, but each installation must be reviewed by Baird to determine if the mount can withstand the loads.
The mount is available in four footprints ranging rom 20' x 20' (shown) to 28' x 28' to spread the ballast load over a greater area. The AFC EHD must be used in conjunction with an adapter kit (not pictured) which allows the antenna support structure to attach to the AFC EHD base. The maximum length of any part of the AFC HD is 10' to allow for easier shipping and handling.
